FlosForge Water for Android

Privacy policy for FlosForge Water

Checked against FlosForge Water 1.0 on 23 September 2026. The data controller is Dimitrios T, Athens, Greece — hello@flosforge.eu.

FlosForge Water has no internet permission and no network code, so nothing you log can be sent anywhere by the app. Your drinks, goals and settings are stored only on the phone and excluded from cloud backups. There is no account, no analytics and no advertising.

What FlosForge Water collects about you

Nothing. There is no account, no telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting and no identifier of any kind. The app has no server of its own to send anything to, and it does not phone home to check for updates — Google Play delivers new versions.

What it stores, and where

Your drinks and goals
Every entry with its time, and the history of your daily goal, in the app’s private database.
Your settings
Cup sizes, times of day, reminder, theme and Health Connect choices, in the app’s private storage.
Not in cloud backups
The app opts out of Google’s cloud backup, so its data is not copied to your Google account.

Everything it can connect to

The app has no internet permission. These are the only things outside it that it ever reaches, and each one is something you choose.

Health Connect, if you turn it on
Off by default. When on, the app reads and writes water-intake records in Health Connect, which is part of Android and keeps its data on the phone. Which other apps can see those records is up to you, in Health Connect’s own settings. Drinks imported from other apps are used only for your totals, calendar and charts.
Links you tap
The website link opens flosforge.eu in your browser, and the Health Connect prompt opens Google Play. The app itself opens no connection.

What never leaves your phone

  • No drink, goal or setting is transmitted by the app.
  • No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no account.
  • No third-party SDKs — only Android’s own libraries.

Safeguards

Nothing to switch off
Without the internet permission the app is unable to send anything, whatever its settings say.
Imported entries stay theirs
Water logged by another app is shown read-only, labelled with its source, and removed when you turn import off.
Reminders only when behind
The one notification the app sends is skipped on days you have already reached your goal.

Your rights, and who to ask

Because the app holds nothing about you, there is nothing for the controller to access, correct or erase on your behalf: everything it knows is in files on your own phone, under your own control. Uninstalling the app deletes every drink, goal and setting it stored. Entries it wrote to Health Connect stay there until you delete them in Health Connect. For anything else, write to hello@flosforge.eu. The site-wide privacy policy covers this website, your rights under the GDPR, and the supervisory authority you can complain to.

Changes

This statement is checked against each release. If a version changes what the app stores or what it can connect to, the version and date at the top change with it.
